Doogee S68 Pro: a new IP68 and IP69k smartphone

The manufacturer Doogee had made a good impression with its modular models S90 and S90 Pro. On its way, the manufacturer today unveils the Doogee S68 Pro, which is designed to go into the field since it is certified IP68 and IP69k.

This smartphone is sturdy and practical, rather than pretty and thin. Indeed, it incorporates many sensors especially at the satellite location (see below). It is IP68 and IP69k certified, which means it is dustproof, but also withstands prolonged immersion as well as extreme situations such as steam and high-pressure cleaning (according to IP69k). IP69k smartphones are quite rare on the market. It also withstands a 1.5m drop.

It's equipped with a triple rear camera with Sony sensors: 21 MP - 8 MP - 8 MP, all for an angle of 130 degrees for your shots. The front camera is 16 MP and offers an 80-degree angle of view.

For the huge 6300 mAh battery, it is compatible with fast charging and will reach 55% in 30 minutes, with a 2A charger. It should be noted that the smartphone is compatible with wireless charging, in both directions: to recharge it (10 watts), but also to use it in order to recharge another device (5 watts).

In terms of technical characteristics:

- Screen: full HD of 5.9" and a resolution of 1080 x 2280
- Helio P70 Chip
- RAM: 6GB (Samsung)
- Storage: 128GB (Samsung)
- Battery: 6300 mAh
- Satellite location: GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Galileo
- Fingerprint reader and facial recognition
- Android 9.0

With this model, it is clear that Doogee wants to compete with the Blackview BV9700 smartphone.
